Patient Rights & Consumer Information

Your rights as a client and important information about filing complaints and accessing your health records.

In accordance with Texas House Bill 4224 (89th Regular Session), effective September 1, 2025, we are required to provide you with detailed instructions on how to exercise your rights as a consumer of mental health services.

Requesting Your Health Care Records

You have the right to request and receive copies of your health care records. To request your records from Roddy Counseling Group:

Submit a Written Request

Send a written request by email to hello@roddycounseling.com or by mail to our office at 6401 W. Eldorado Parkway #334, McKinney, TX 75070.

Include Required Information

Your request should include your full name, date of birth, contact information, and specific records you are requesting.

Verify Your Identity

You may be required to provide proof of identity to protect your privacy and ensure records are released to the appropriate person.

Processing Time & Fees

Records will be provided within the timeframe required by Texas law. A reasonable copying fee may apply as permitted by law.
