✨ Adolescent Support

Teen & Adolescent Counseling

Patient, curious approach focused on individual empowerment and personal goals

Understanding Teen Mental Health

The teenage years bring unique challenges as adolescents navigate identity development, peer relationships, academic pressures, and significant physical and emotional changes. Therapy can provide a confidential, judgment-free space where teens can process their experiences and develop coping skills.

My Approach to Teen Therapy

I work with teens in a curious, collaborative way that respects their growing autonomy and individuality. Rather than telling you what to do, I'm here to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you discover your own solutions.

  • •Create a safe, confidential space to explore feelings and experiences
  • •Develop healthy coping strategies for stress, anxiety, and depression
  • •Explore identity questions and navigate peer relationships
  • •Build self-confidence and resilience
  • •Work toward your personal goals and values

Common Issues I Address

I work with teens experiencing:

Parent Involvement & Confidentiality

Your confidentiality is important and creates the safety needed for real growth. I maintain your privacy while communicating with parents as appropriate and with your input. Parents are welcome to join sessions periodically to discuss support strategies and family dynamics, with your consent.

I'll be transparent with both you and your parents about safety concerns while respecting your developing independence and decision-making ability.
